STREAM & Technology
STREAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking. The goal is to encourage students to take thoughtful risks, engage in experimental learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration and work through the creative process in a Christ-centered and respectful environment.
Technology in the Classroom
Technology is incorporated into the classrooms through the use of Chromebooks, iPads, interactive whiteboards, multimedia projectors and document presenters. Teachers use a variety of educational websites to present material through means of video to develop and enhance the concepts being taught. Computers are used in all classrooms by both the students and the teachers to enhance the curriculum. Additionally, students participate in a weekly computer class. Students learn computer safety, Microsoft Office, and other technology that will prepare them for the 21st century.
